At Erve, we stand for growth, step by step, better each time. To enhance our growth in the Polish market, we welcomed Inga Swiatek to our commercial team mid 2023.
Originally from Poland and living in Belgium, Inga’s goal is to further shape our presence in Poland and strengthen our bonds with Polish retailers. We previously faced some challenges in the Polish market, as getting into contact with the retailers was not an easy task. Adding a native Polish speaker to the team made this hurdle way smaller. Many retailers were happy to have a Polish contact person from our end, which makes communication run much smoother.
Although these customers were already used to working with some other suppliers, Inga’s persuasion and persistence beat the resistance. While convincing these retailers, she always keeps her favorite Duda in mind.
“The positive Duda. Because both in my private and professional life, I always try to keep a positive mindset. I hope that my positive view on things will pass on to the customer as this can only improve negotiations.”
Inga describes Erve as being flexible, forward thinking and trustworthy. She is determined that these characteristics are what is convincing Polish retailers to work with us. Step by step, we see how Inga is gradually paving the way for Erve in the Polish market. Our strategy is to keep on growing the Polish business in order to build a stable portfolio of Polish customers. We know that the Polish retailers will appreciate our quality and services. After a first order we aim at including more of our products in their store, to enlarge our market share.
Looking ahead, we are optimistic about the opportunities that the next year holds for Poland. The Polish market is evolving positively, and we're excited to be part of this journey.
