CSR achievements 2023
- We started up BHive to conduct chemical follow-up
- 62% of our materials were sustainable
- Our suppliers and 11 agents have been onboarded in tex.tracer
- We delivered our first GRS certificated goods and the approved GRS LOGO
- Solar panels have been installed on the roof of our headquarters in Zaventem (Belgium)
- We started conducting our facility checks and CAP follow-up in Qarma
Goals 2024
By the end of 2024 we will:
- We will conduct our supply chain follow-up for non-coproduction suppliers completely through tex.tracer.
- Extra suppliers will be in possession of a recycled Oekotex certificate.
- All our strategic main suppliers will have GOTS – GRS – OCS – RCS scope certificates.
- We will increase the amount of sustainable materials to 75%.
- 100% of our main strategic suppliers with wet processing will hold a verified environmental audit report (Higg, Amfori BEPI, STeP, ISO14001).
- BHive software will be installed to monitor chemical management system in our strategic wet processing units (printers & dye house).
Long-term goals
- Our aim is to produce all packaging in recyclable materials by the end of 2024.
- Delivery of our first sustainability report by the end of 2024, compliant with the European CSRD legislation (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive, based on the 17 United Nations goals).
- Introduction of supplier scorecards; ranking suppliers on key aspects like quality consistency, accuracy, delivery punctuality, use of sustainable (raw) materials and processes, CSR certificates, CAP follow-up, etc.
- By 2030 we will comply with the climate targets and analyse our CO2 impact based on the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) . We are currently setting targets for scope 1 and 2.
